The evaporator sensor is a temperature sensor. It fulfills different functions: Detect the temperature of the evaporator. Avoid freezing the evaporator by stopping the generation of cold. The evaporator temperature pressure sensor is located in the central area of the evaporator and on the back (depending on the airflow) and informs the control unit about the temperature in this zone.
